This weekend I took a break from non league football to take my house mates to see the Iron take on Leyton Orient. Considering Scunthorpe's recent form and Orients eight game unbeaten run this looked a stupid idea. After a truly appalling first half for football in general, the Iron put in a brilliant second half performance. Goals from Ribeiro, Hawley and Mozika - as well as a penalty from Lisbie for the home side gave Scunthorpe an impressive 3-1 victory. The team played well in the second half and hopefully they can keep up this kind of form.
