Hi, I'm a Scunthorpe United fan currently living and working in London. When I lived up north I went to most home games and a few away games. So, to make up for all the games I missing I started to go a new ground every weekend. The aim of this blog is to show people different grounds in and around London. Also, as I can't drive the blog will tell people how easy it is to get to grounds using public transport.

Scunny Snapshot - Stevenage vs. Scunthorpe United
A couple of weeks ago I went to see my beloved Scunthorpe at Stevenage's tree laden Broadhall Way. The ground had a great feel about it and is a lot better than a lot of the new prefab grounds popping up. We got a taxi there and walked back. The taxi was six quid and the walk took around half an hour. Trains depart from Kings Cross. Beforehand we sampled the clubhouse which had Sky Sports. I fully recommend the chip buttys available from the bar. On the walk back to the station we stopped at the Weatherspoons for a pre train beer. The game it's self was pretty terrible but The Iron managed to claim their second consecutive victory.
